Some things begin with a vision. Iron Moon Design began with a name — something strong, something magical. Iron and Moon. The enduring and the luminous.

It felt right before we even knew what it would become.

The Maker
My passion began at age nine watching my mother and aunts sew at home. I was captivated by something almost magical — how a flat piece of fabric could become something wearable and beautiful. I quickly discovered hand sewing wasn’t my path and went straight to the sewing machine and never looked back. That childhood fascination grew into a lifelong professional calling — designing and manufacturing products and bags for other brands for over three decades. After years of building other people’s visions with her hands, Iron Moon Design is where it all comes home.
This one is hers.

How the Garden Found Us
The direction found us through friendship. Our first employee, a master gardener, had a
simple suggestion — make a few bags and bring them to a local plant sale. Watching
gardeners connect with those first wax canvas pieces, we knew we had found our people.
That master gardener is still with us today, our friend, our supporter, and the face you see in our photos.

What We Make
Every Iron Moon Design piece is handcrafted in Southern Oregon using high quality wax
canvas — built to last as long as your passion for growing things. Women owned and
domestically made, every stitch is placed with care by hands that understand craft at the deepest level.

This is gear made to work as hard as you do — and look beautiful doing it.
